Privacy statement
In short: I only use your data to help you, and I don't sell it to anyone. Below is exactly how that works.
Who I am
Koobs Engineering is the company of Herman Koobs, based in Skillingsfors, Sweden (Reg. no. 881105-6152). I am responsible for processing your personal data. Questions? Email info@koobs-engineering.com.
What data
When you fill in the contact form, email or call, I receive the details you give me yourself:
- name and email address
- company and phone number
- your message and what we discuss afterwards
If you become a client, I also process the data needed for the quote, the project and invoicing.
What for
- to answer your question and stay in touch
- to prepare a quote and carry out an assignment
- to invoice and meet legal obligations
I do this because you contact me yourself or enter into an agreement with me, or because the law requires it.
How long
I keep messages and contact details for up to two years after our last contact, unless they lead to an assignment. Data that belongs to my accounts, such as quotes and invoices, I keep for as long as the law requires (seven years in Sweden).
Who I share it with
I don't sell your data. I only share it with parties I need to do my work: the party that hosts this website and my email, and, for a project, the trusted specialists I work with. They only get what they need.
This website
- I measure visitor numbers without cookies. The statistics stay on my own server and I don't store IP addresses.
- Images are loaded via Optimole and fonts via Google Fonts. In the process, your IP address is sent to those services, because your browser fetches the files from them.
- I don't use tracking or marketing cookies.
Your rights
You can always ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. To do so, email info@koobs-engineering.com. You'll get a reply within a month.
Not happy with how I handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority (IMY) or with the authority in your own country; in the Netherlands, that's the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Security
The website uses a secure connection (https) and access to the admin area is protected.
