Space-Saving Ingenuity in Practice

We have designed a cleaning platform for a client in the food industry, to be installed under a conveyor belt in an area with very limited space. The platform needed to be foldable to keep the walkway clear, but a standard railing would have collided with the conveyor belt above when folded.

In the end, we came up with a very compact design. For ease of use, we have attached a gas spring to the moving part, allowing the platform to be folded up with minimal effort. The result: a practical solution that fits perfectly in the restricted space.
